We ended up staying longer in Flagler, CO longer than we anticipated. An immense winter storm made travel on I-70 through Colorado and Utah treacherous. I-80 was closed as was I-25 which would have allowed us to take a northern route home. So we waited out the storm leaving on the 5th. It was already beginning to snow in Salmon when we left Colorado but this was our only window of opportunity. It began to snow on us in western Wyoming and snowed the remainder of the trip. The snow continued in Salmon for several days and by the end of the week had accumulated 20" total for the week. Much of that snow still remains at the end of the month. With the extra time in Colorado, Nathan was able to install a new attic access. He also plumbed the handicap showers. Our time at Salmon Valley Baptist Church this month has included working on some of the plumbing under the church. Nathan started scrapping the popcorn texture off the ceiling in the fellowship hall. He is preparing to lay acoustical tile in there for better sound control.

Wheatland Conference Center needed handicap bathrooms with showers. They host a group of handicap kids several times a year so the bathrooms are much needed. A string of volunteers has already been here to get the project going. Nathan finished some framing, did some plumbing, and put in the handicap showers.
