Rodeo Bible Camp started started on Sunday and ended late Wednesday afternoon following the rodeo, family chapel, and awards ceremony. We never got the exact number of campers but it was in the 20s. On Tuesday night, there were 7 baptisms. It was a great week.

Lake Avenue Community Church is a church plant in Pueblo, Colorado looking to launch in the next year. They were given an old church building along with some funds from the sale of houses around the building after the church closed in the Bessemer area of Pueblo. This will be the only evangelical church in a one mile radius of the church in a neighborhood that desperately needs the gospel. Pastor Scott and wife Marianne are building a church planting team and working to build relationships in the community. We joined a mission team from Tennessee and our goal was to paint the entire sanctuary, finish bathrooms off the sanctuary, trim windows, and pull old carpet and lay new tile squares in the sanctuary. We were able to get everything done but the bathrooms as we found structure issues with the stage and redirected our efforts there. We rented a lift for painting the walls and we challenged when we had to get the lift in and out of the building. The building is now finished enough that they can begin holding some meetings in the building. We look forward to seeing how the Lord is going to work in Lake Avenue and in Pueblo.
