A church planter in Provo, UT recently purchased a house with a detached garage. His father had recently been diagnosed with cancer and was going to need someone to care for him. They were trying to get the project completed by the end of his dad's rehab. We started the project and then had to leave for nine days for Mom's funeral. Shortly after we returned, it was discovered that his dad's cancer was rapidly progressing and a few short days later, he went home to be with his Savior. Yet the project continued as they could see the need of having the apartment for missionaries and ministry interns. We were able to get the main room completed with finished walls, doors, windows, and flooring. We could not finish the bathroom as they were still waiting on the plumber and electrician. We are excited to see how the Lord is going to use this cute apartment.

On April 22, Mom went home to be with Jesus. After battling Parkinson's disease for years and a rough battle with COVID in March and April, the Lord released Mom from her suffering. She was a great lady of God. She had the gift of encouragement. She completely understood our ministry. While she missed us, she always said she wanted us right where God had called us. She was undoubtedly our greatest prayer warrior. Even while bedridden, she managed to share Christ with anyone who would stop by, especially hospice workers. She had a great sense of humor. Her laugh was infectious. One of our best memories over the past couple of years was hearing her and Faith laugh at classical TV shows. Our hearts ache over her loss but we rejoice she is at home with her Savior.
