Those of you familiar with our ministry are aware that our ministry is itinerant. It is the nature of what we do. Covid 19 has forced us to make a temporary change to that part of our ministry. After some discussion and prayer, we have decided to stay in our current location for the time being. We feel that any travel right now could possibly increase the chances of spreading this disease. While we ourselves are not in the high-risk group, we have many loved ones and dear friends that are just like you do. We desire to do our part to help limit the spread of this disease out of love for those who are at great risk.
We are currently still in Salmon. There is still work to do on the building and that work will continue. But we are also praying and seeking how we can serve those around us in this difficult time. While we have discussed potential ideas with others, we still are not sure what it will look like or even if those ideas will pan out but we want to be available to serve Him in whatever capacity He calls us to. Our prayers for this time are not much different than yours. We pray for the protection of those who are most vulnerable to this virus and for those who are already infected. We pray for our healthcare workers who are on the front lines of this. We pray for wisdom for all levels of leadership in our country. We pray for guidance for those scientists who are working tirelessly to develop vaccines and anti-viral medication for this. But mostly we pray for the work the Lord is going to do during this time. These difficult times have truly caused us to re-evaluate what our priorities are. We are praying that the Lord will do a work in all believers that will cause us to focus on what the Lord wants us to do-sharing the gospel and making disciples. May we be faithful to share with those lost, scared, and hurting people around us. There is no better time than today.
