We ordered paint for the floors at the Cowboy Church in early summer. The floor needed to be painted during warm weather so that the floor would properly cure. Painting in June was the ideal time. After months of waiting, the paint finally arrived at the end of September. Thankfully the warm weather persisted through the first week in October and Nathan and a three guys from the Cowboy Church were able to get the floors completed before cold weather hit the following week. One of the amusing things that happened during this time was the church had an infestation of wasps. One of wasps left footprints in the paint as the paint dried. Everyone got a kick of that. We sprayed as soon as the floor was completed to alleviate the wasp problem.
The Cowboy Church met outdoors the entire summer as a means to prevent the spread of COVID. The weekend after the floor was painted, cold weather forced the church to use the building again. Everyone really seemed to enjoy meeting outdoors.
